American Legion Child Welfare Foundation Supports Our Military Kids

A grant from the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation (ALCWF) will allow Our Military Kids to produce the materials they send to military kids, as well as publications, videos and website updates in 2019.

George Lussier, Jr., American Legion Finance Commission member, presented a check for $26,952.20 to Barry Miller, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Our Military Kids, and Michelle Criqui, social media manger and a former grant recipient, during a visit to the OMK office on April 17.

The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation was founded to contribute to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual welfare of children and youth.  CWF accomplishes this mission by promoting child welfare through dissemination of knowledge about research, studies, surveys, projects, or by supporting programs and activities benefiting the welfare of children and youth.
