Congratulations to Allan, 18, from Missouri – the U.S. Air Force Reserve WINNER of OMK’s Courageous Kids of 2021 Contest sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union!

“It has been difficult for Allan being the oldest sibling at home during his Dad’s deployment,” said his mother. “But he has been an amazing big brother to his three little sisters during this time. He does school drop-off and pick-up, works, and goes to school, where he is a member of National Junior Honor Society and volunteers on the school farm by helping special needs students. 

Allan been a straight-A student all throughout high school and is in a special, dual-enrollment program where he will graduate with both his high school diploma and an associate’s degree. Allan has been upset his Dad will miss both of his graduations, but hopefully he will make it back home before his college move-in day. 

Allan deserves to be recognized for all his hard work and achievements. His goal in life is to become a physician. We are so very proud of him!”
