Throughout April’s Month of the Military Child, the Our Military Kids® Courageous Kids Contest honors courageous children and teens (ages 1-18) for demonstrating extraordinary courage, resilience, and strength as role models and leaders in their local communities, within their families, at school, and/or in their extracurricular activities, all while having a parent who deployed with the National Guard, deployed with the Reserve, or underwent treatment for combat-related injuries, illnesses, or wounds in the past year.
