McLean, Virginia 一 Last week, KBP Foods’ Fall 2020 Charity Coupon Drive kicked off at 255 Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants across 15 U.S. states in support of Our Military Kids. From August 24 – September 30, guests can purchase a $1 KFC Coupon Book (worth more than $30 in savings) at these select, KBP Foods-owned locations, with all proceeds directly funding extracurricular activity grants for military children.

The KBP Foods Charity Coupon Drive is Our Military Kids’ top yearly fundraiser, bringing in $199,497 in Spring 2020 through the dedicated efforts of KBP Foods employees and OMK supporters across the Nation. Since KBP Foods’ first donation to OMK in 2013, the company has collectively raised more than $1.7 million in charity coupon book sales, funding extracurricular activity grants for at least 5,811 children whose parents are either deployed overseas with the National Guard or Reserve or Veterans who are recovering from combat-related injuries.

This Fall, as our Nation faces ongoing challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, Our Military Kids has introduced HONOR120, a COVID-19 response campaign designed to extend support to the children of Guard and Reserve service members who are activated stateside for COVID-19 Response or Southwest Border Missions through Veterans Day 2020. The campaign also expands OMK’s age requirements to offer grant awards for three-and-four-year-olds as well as a second activity grant for children of service members who are currently deployed overseas.
